Where we stand · September 2026

Built in the open, one approved step at a time.

Legion Bridget Intellectus Il Mondo is a pre-incorporation initiative that will be organized as a public benefit nonprofit corporation in the State of Oregon. This is exactly where we are, what we can do today, and what waits for the licenses and approvals the law requires.

  1. Done

    Founding Board

Seven of nine seats are occupied under the pre-incorporation Memorandum of Understanding, with directors from the United States, Mexico, Argentina, El Salvador and Ecuador. Two seats have nominees awaiting confirmation.

    Meet the Board →
  2. In progress

    Incorporation in Oregon

Articles of Incorporation and bylaws under the Oregon Nonprofit Corporation Act (ORS Chapter 65). Until then, every role on the Board is provisional.

  3. Next

    Governance policies

Conflict of interest (including family relationships), privacy and data protection, child protection and background checks, a written volunteer policy, and Directors & Officers insurance.

  4. Next

    Federal tax exemption

Application for recognition under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We will not describe donations as tax-deductible until that recognition exists.

  5. Later

    Clinical programs

Billable clinical treatment starts only after the Oregon Health Authority issues a Certificate of Approval and licensed professionals are in place.

  6. Later

    Partners abroad

A collaboration MOU with Fundación Conociendo Ahuachapán (El Salvador) is in draft. It moves no funds and starts no programs until both entities are legally established and their boards approve it.

What we can do now

  • Learning Center, workshops and trainings
  • Community outreach and events
  • Educational games and the research library
  • Building the technology the programs will run on

What waits for approval

  • Therapy, diagnosis and crisis services
  • Addiction treatment or counseling
  • Licensed nutrition and dietetics services
  • Medicaid and Oregon Health Plan billing
  • Direct services to minors before policies, checks and training exist

How we govern

No privileges, not even for the Founder

The same rules apply to everyone. Family relationships with the Founder are disclosed in writing from day one and give no priority, exemption or preferential treatment.

The Board governs; it isn't paid

Board service is voluntary and unpaid. A director who accepts a paid role resigns their seat and vote first, and never takes part in decisions about their own hiring or pay.

Only collective decisions

No single person can sign, spend, hire, open accounts or speak for the organization. Decisions are made in meetings with quorum, votes and minutes.

Your data is not a product

Information about health, recovery, families, minors or donors is never sold, used for advertising or used to train AI models.

Technology kept separate

Our platforms are built by Studio Legion Networking, Inc., a separate private company. The organization uses them only under a written license approved by directors without a conflict of interest.

This section summarizes our founding documents. It describes plans and rules, does not announce any service as available, and is not legal advice.
